Thats because you can make as many substitutions in a friendly.

Troll City out of the Cup as well after the opposition stealed the tie with an 87th minute winner. Could of done with the $ for transfer funds for a new striker.

second time today i miss a free agent because of it. this time the player was worth 1m and the guy got him for 1T (lvl3, 1m is quite some money here. my whole squad is worth 20m). Strange auction anyways 3 (or more, dont know) biders, but no one bids in KO round 1.
