Had two games in pretty quick succession today as well, been a bit frustrated with the scheduling so far as I've had 3-6 hours between games at the most, meaning the team rarely get more than 5%'s worth of rest.

Started off with a League game against one of the bottom half teams, Adel FC. After a shock opening where Mroz opened the scoring for the hosts iLandslaget grabbed a firm hold on the reins. 3 goals by Gamarra and 2 goals by Bouzgarrou, 1 by Hai and then the obligatory Gerailton goal meant we dominated proceedings and took all 3 pts with a 7-1 win.

The short rest for the Champions League game meant I had to reshuffle the team somewhat, but everyone performed their part to help the team see off Dalibor FC, an acquaintance from last year's CL, in a 3-1 affair that flattered the hosts somewhat. The 3 central midfielders Sogaard, Hai and Liljehook scored for iLandslaget while Willhelmsson scored a consolation goal for Dalibor FC.
Maximum pts for iLandslaget so far in both competitions, these being the first goals the team let against them as well.

Not had a lot of injuries so far, but enough to cause some problems since I have such a small squad.

3-6 hours is fine. That is plenty of time for your players to recover, especially if you've got a full squad. Many managers would love to have that time difference.

Matches today, (League & Champs League).

    LEAGUE. Matchday 3.

Result: ARABIC TEAM 1-2 LONDON CITY
    Goals: Silva 10, Brown 54, Duggan 73
    M.o.M: Jake Brown

Our stuttering start to the season, continued, with this hard fought win against what seems like an abandoned team. The home side took an early lead through Gary Silver. We kept pressing forward, but couldn't make a breakthrough, and trailed 0-1 at the interval. We sent on Jake Brown for the second half, and he made all the difference. Brown went on a solo run, and struck the equaliser within ten minutes of the restart. We began to dominate more and more, but only one more goal came our way, when Hector Morgada played a through ball, for Terry Duggan to clip home.

    CHAMPS LEAGUE. Group Match 2.

Result: BUNJY FC 1-2 LONDON CITY
    Goals: Andersson 16, Zola 54, Serkov 59
    M.o.M: Stig Andersson

Although we won, this was yet another disappointing display, against the weakest team in our group. Stig Andersson scored the only goal of the first period, after being put in by a simple pass from Jake Brown. Adam Zola headed a second for us, from an Andreas Costa corner, shortly after the resumption. Sergey Serkov pulled one back for the home side, just on the hour mark, but we held out for an important win.

    GENERAL THOUGHTS.

We are lying 2nd in the league with 7 points, without really getting into gear. In the CL, we are equal top with TAK fc. We both have 4 points and identical goal difference, (both scored 4 and conceeded 3). Our problems seem to be at home, where we have won just once and drawn three, in all competitions. Away from home, we have won all 4 matches.

On a brighter note tonight, 'keeper Keith Cross went up a star rating to 5*, while DC, Clayton Manning, and ML, Jake Brown, both became scouts, all through normal training (no PT).

    SENSATIONAL NEWS FOR NEW TEAM!

A press conference is held surprisingly after the CL match, with Coach Mad shocking the audience with a glamorous announce:

Yes, we did receive lately so many offers for our players that we spent more time refusing them than looking for new talents. Expcially for Bruce Harper, we had offers at a point they became annoying. A particular team was so incredibly insistent that no matter how many times we refused, they kept coming back at us. Now, we have put on Harper trust and efforts last year to bring him up as a player worth of New Team, and for the last season he did a damn good job. Although lately, with he uprising of Richard Flanagan, and at 22 years old's doors, we gradually diminished our investement upon him.

Journalist:Does it mean you're putting him for sale in the market, Mr. Mad?

Well no, we never planned so. We wanted to keep him at least for the current season, and so when Anstey FC offered for him back, instead of refusing, knowing it wouldn't matter, we answered putting on him an overrated price.

Journalist: Of what price we're talking about, Mr Mad?

Well, standing by TL our Harper was priced 2,68 M at the present condition, so we asked Anstey FC...5,35 M plus transfer feed covering expenses.

    <Shocked noise around>

Journalist: So, did that work as deterrent to avoid being annoyed more?-the reporter woman smiles-.

    Actually, no, they accepted.

    <Shocked voices>

As of today, Bruce Harper will find new luck playing for Anstey FC, we concurred already with him for the immediate transfer. We thank him for his performances and wish him the best in his new team.

Journalist: Are you gonna replace him at any rate?

Well, about that... <He invites someone behind the curtain to move over to his place, letting the crowd leave another shocked scream> We are happy to announce that we completed the research of a new talent covering the DR role. Please welcome Fubuki Shirou, our new rising star.

<The conference goes on with the player's interview>

    Harper's transfer infos:

    Fubuki Shirou's Transfer:

With this New Team's solves the riddle of not having a FK specialist when Callaghan isn't around. Next season New Team's navigated defender will be able to rest more due to his upcoming 26 years old.

    Balkan Boyz - Matchday 5 (Sz.4 - lvl4)

HEADLINE: Oh boy, Today was a good day, A day to remember !

FRIENDLY: DRS FC (Q45+) Formation: 4-2-2W-2 vs Balkan Boyz (Q40,5) Formation: 4-1-2N-1-2 (4-4-2 diamond)
    ¨

    Scorers: G,Coskun (38min.ass:N.Nielsen), S.Jovetić (46min), S.Sušić (60min.ass:N.Vidić) and A.Halilović (83min.ass:N.Vidić)

This was an unexpected friendly request that we didn´t prepare for and that I didn´t had opportunity to follow. But despite that, we managed to beat our opponent and win with 1-3 away. The home team was for sure the better one (both on the paper and quality) and had a possesion of 58% (+15% from the managers that supported him). He managed to get a goal in the first half and therefore take the lead, but our lads managed to get their sh*t together in the second half and show the hosts the way football is supposed to be played. Stevan Jovetić scored our first goal, Safet Sušić and Alen Halilović the second and third.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Thai Team (Q24,1) Formation: 4-4-1-1 vs Balkan Boyz (Q40,5) Formation: 4-1-2N-1-2 (4-4-2 diamond)¨

    Scorers: N.Vidić (13min), M.Kovačić (17min), Jovetić (23min.ass:I.Olić), I.Olić (30min), J.Mcdonald (45min.ass:M.Da Silva), S.Jovetić (49min), M.McGewon (65min) and A.Ljajić (70min).

In the 2nd round of the CL we faced a Thai team that we didn´t have any problem winning over. We controlled mostly of the possesion and made a good effort by scoring 6 goals on foreign terrain. This win puts us at the top of group F on 6 points and a goal difference at 11 - 2. Group F is more or less all ours!

    LEAGUE: TayHin FC (Q24,4) Formation: 4-5-1 vs Balkan Boyz (Q40,4) Formation: 4-1-2N-1-2 (4-4-2 diamond)¨

    Scorers: S.Jovetić (5min),C.Villalón (24min) E.Džeko (28min) and H.Salihamidžić (79min)

In the 3rd league round ee faced a Vietnamese team which we managed to beat. But our opponent did everything in his power to make us work hard for the 3points by changing his formation from 4-3-1-2, 4-2-1-3 and then to a 4-1-2-1-2 diamond formation. But despite all efforts, we managed to keep our heads above the water and travel back home with 3points. This win puts us at a 3rd place, 2 points behind the current league leader "Beauteville FC".

Tomorrow we will be playing our 4th league against the English team "Bomb FC" which we shouldn´t have any problem winning, but you never know with the T11 engine. Anyway, later on we will be playing the 2nd leg in the preliminary round of the CUP were we will be facing the Dutch team "Robelix FC". The first game ended 2-2, soo a win is a must for us to get through to the next round.
