This is a good thing to mention.
I think there is another hidden parameter besides Talent that determines players performance. Scouts and Recommended players usually perform significantly better than ordinary market players, and, of course, they are always FTs.

First of all, I would like to thank you all for giving valuable advice.
What you guys are saying is true. I have a very slow trainer in my squad of 86% quality and of 23 year age(oldest starter in my squad) but he has been my best performer for past 2 seasons. I was going to replace him this season but he has been performing very well in League and cup matches.

And regarding my ST, his market value is 106M and wage is 15.2m. I am going to keep him for this season without spending a single rest pack on him and when he reaches 119% quality, I will sell him for few tokens.
