wen you decide not to get promoted on purpose it is called tanking. Your players get stronger and obviously they don't lose a star.

Someone in my league done tanking last season .I went up to lvl 33 he stayed at 32 but his team is worse then last season

Maybe he has abandoned the game and the players are out of contract and replaced by 3 star players.

as Kenotic said, tanking doesn't mean necessary that I 'm staying to get stronger or to keep my quality.
After the end of the old version (April of 2017), I sold the players and left the asso groups I was with two more accounts I had as I couldn't play with 3 teams at the same time in my pc.
With the old version (2014) I could have 3 browsers and teams active.
