I tried negotiations for a while but gave up trying to get the players that way. You put in an offer on a player and time expires usually without the other manager even acknowledging your offer , 22 times I have tried for nil purchases. In my own case I get offers on players , mostly early in the season , but these offers are ridiculously short. Why on earth would I sell a 99% 18 yo with 2 positions and an SA for 0 or 1 token. I see the real problem being the way the players are offered , by default without the managers approval so its no wonder a very low % ( in my case 0%) negotiations ever happen. It would be far better if the managers themselves chose players for sale negotiations and I wouldnt care if the game placed their premium on top of the asking price and maybe then it would become a real thing.
