I confirm it works

Fielded my less than 1* reserves on the pitch, my association went down to 4* as rating and we were coupled with a low 5* asso

I fielded again my top 11 and asso went up to 6* as rating

Moreover I was drawn against the worst team of them

When did you fielded your players exactly?

Before the draw (usually friday 10am here CET) or 1 day before?

As the tournament is over, so why come back in 2 stars?

Ok , don't pay too much attention at the stars average that our FA group may show actually , it is not intentional to the draw .
The thruth is that nordeus made succefuly 2 changes ( the last one was a fix of the first lol ) in the quality team are showing .
Since the last change , now if you put your reserve in the field your average immediatly change and the association's average too .
It means the starting 11 is taken into account for your average .
But it doesn't mean the draw is now doing the same . But some people believe this now lol ...
Nothing has change for the draw but now many teams donkt show their real average of the 11 best players so many people have now a false interpretation with the recent draws .

It doesn't work in Platinum, because all team are all strong.
But in Gold 1, it works.
Damn, I will get my asso to Platinum this season.

It makes thing crazy and messy, I mean members ranking and their oppo, not the best q against the best of the other side now

We dont change our starting 11 yet we are drawn against young turkisk scumbag legends and the cheats topboom every weekend....

And it does make a difference, TOPBOOM strongest team which would effectively be 10 stars if the 10th star showed, from the cheating tactic of fielding your weakest 11 players their 10 star team managed to play our weakest team at 7 star, dirty little cheats,

It does make a difference.
I've done it for this weekend. Dropping my starting lineup from 7 stars to 3 before the draw. I now face the weakest team in the opposition association for today's semi.
Although nothing is guaranteed, supposing I win both games, the other 5 members only have to win 50% of their matches to put us in the final.
Manipulating associations like this increases the possibility of reaching the final and at least picking up the 25 bonus points for finishing 2nd.
