Really? I notice a significant reduction after they hit 23, I thought it would be incremental and would slow slightly at 19.

If so I'll wait until the next season, save my greens until then and power train him to replace the (then) 25 year old, and have the older guy as the sub.

I find 5/6 years between top players optimum, with middlemen filling any gaps. My 20 y/o AMC replaced an excellent AMC who is now 26 and falling down the ranks to be number 6 sub. I have a third AMC who is just average, 19 y/o but I picked up for a single coin and is just there as backup. With 28 players covering 42 positions (some can play in 3) I probably will never use him, but having lots of reserves to train increases my daily bonus anyway ;-)
