Player stat impact (which one is "better")

Player stat impact (which one is "better")-screenshot_1.jpg

One has better overall stats, full star higher than the other. Other one is much better in defense but completely lacks attack and p&m.
I realize certain stats are supposed to have more impact but at what magnitude is beyond me.
So the question is, which one will perform better at DL or DC position. Also, does order of positions impact player's performance in any way? Will DL/DC on DL position perform better than DC/DL
    Any useful insight is welcome.

my method of choosing player for specific position is as below. just calculate the white skill for specific position only,

but this is just by numerical comparison, still need to be test in actual and compare his in match rating also and then make your conclusion

    Danny Lawton
    - DC skill avg : (151+111+154+165+128+34+11+68)/8 = 102.75%
    - DL skill avg : (151+111+154+128+122+34+68+75)/8 = 105.375%

    Ruben Pinocchio
    - DC skill avg : (115+147+112+123+118+104+89+101)/8 = 113.625%
    - DL skill avg : (115+147+112+118+112+104+101+102)/8 = 113.875%
    Toxcatl and AlenOpasnost like this.

Sure thing is that attributes plays bigger role than overall quality.
That means Lewton with some training in P&M skills will perform better than Pacheco
but his overall quality will be lower.

"Sure thing", really? Do you have any proof?

Oh, and btw even if they do, adifairus made calculations that tell Pacheco is better.

Allready explain why in the example above Pacheco is better.
Proof is that team with "well trained" highlighted attributes has no problem with teams
which are better ιn quality but not "well trained"...
