I loved training U-21 players using that method too... Spared me a lot of time...
The max I used to achieve in terms of % was 120% of average global quality in players thinking in the next season. Only rest packs from videos, training building, substitutions, gifts and Confederation's prizes. I did not use tokens to buy them because I am a lvl 6 manager. It would be a waste of resource.
In my planning I focused on the overall balance of the team. So I would have a competitive team (around 90%)since the beginning of the championship and high profitability in reselling 4 1/2 or 5 star players bought and upgraded because I did not renew the contracts.
I asked about mutants to understand how someone did that. It does not seem possible to me only with the resources mentioned above make a mutant player.
You must have a lot of tokens.
So It lead us to a small group of people:
1 - Rich / donators
2 - Cheater
3 - Veteran players
4 - Confederation Multi-champion blessed one.
