After a night of delight, I would like to thank the Croatian players and fans for giving us that display. No cheating. Just skills, courage and great great great football players. The best victories come when you face strong opposition. Maybe we did not deserve to win yesterday and I feel a bit sad for this small country. It's the scond time we beat them and again, they have every reason to wonder: why not us ? We had many defeats in the past after which we sincerely felt we were the best team on the pitch that day. I know that's what they feel. And there is already a passionate debate in France about the quality of football we played in Russia. Let's hope Croatia will get a reward at some point! Thanks to every nation for this World cup. Probably far from the best ones. But even crap WC remain in history!
