I don't mind slight end of season manipulation as it's normal to clear out dead wood but those people that sell 10 players to keep 6 strong and 8 1*s are cancer and ruin leagues. I like challenging leagues and enjoy having competitive matches with 4-8 decent teams rather than blowing ppl out 8-0 every match.

I agree, obvious tankers should be punished just make a 130% cap on it so everyone has changes against them..

There isn't a fair way or a cheap way to win a trophy.
Only legit or not.
After all it's a managment game, not Playstation.
if there is a way to avoid strong opponents or find some weak points, you should be able to adopt new tactics.

Very few teams that are playing -1 level in the cup or cl are dangerous until above level 40 as # of leagues per level becomes quite small. It's almost always the inactives and non-farmers/coiners playing down. I really don't understand the need to play down unless avoiding a draw manipulator, tanker or 5*/low 6* mutant team.

Dropping quality is the only secure way to avoid such players.





Jos is a friend of mine (but this post is from TE United).
I was 2 levels above him but now after staying lv, I 'm -1 LV.
Dropping quality, never faced this guy (CROATIA - we all are in the same server).
Jos doesn't drop q and now playing vs this super tanker.
More and more people "sacrifice" their League, just to play for asso and probably win the C.L./S.L. and Cup.

Agree that the assos link is a big part of the problem here. I have taken to draw manipulation recently out of frustration against +1 comps and facing tankers. Still had a similar one to your example who was -1 level to me in my cl a few seasons back. This season seem to be all clear. However think I overdid the manipulation this time and my competitions are too weak. Feels wrong. Basically as i dont trust nordeus match making I end up trying to adjust to set myself a challenge where I have same level opponents around my %. Seems hit and miss.

I understand. Seen a few more than normal on my server lately as well.

I do agree with you and Roger that associations is the culprit here. From what i've experienced tanking is enough to keep a platinum association above 1350 points, but tanking associations struggle mightily against the mutants (if tactics are decent).

That's fine. It may be like a war game (insert tank joke here). But it is supposed to be a football management game. I think winning the league is a good manager. Tanking is a different sort of manager (not a positive one shall we say)
