Assists aren’t always given. I’ve had many goals scored from a nice passing play and no assist given.

yeah I've noticed that loads too, yet a corner headed away and then scored still gives an assist to the corner taker

Same here with the assists .... It doesn't consider all the passes made in certain matches ... I guess I just have to hope to record the assists for the player I'm hoping to win at the end of the season .
