How good can I expect my youth players to be?

Just a quick question for experienced players and forum nuts...

I've got a full squad of 22, basically two teams of 11 to deal with all my fixtures. I should be getting my first youth players this season and I'm wondering whether they'll be any good

I have picked up that one will be better than the other (and cost more too), but the question is: just how good is that better player likely to be?

He'll need to be at least a four star with SA or a 5* player to get into my squad

I'm not sure, maybe it varies I don't really remember all the players I got from my youth academy but the last one was 4 points away from 5*. some people also checked this and the player should train really fast so take that into consideration.

OK, guess I'll just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed for a decent player, would be nice, but I can live without :-)

Don't bank on it. Acadamy players can vary enormously. I have had 4* players, but in turn have had (like my last ones), a 3* for 18T and my free one was just 1*.

what they`v failed to mention and quote yourself, you have full squad so if you was to sign you would have to sell a player first before you can sign and you`l 7 days to do this

That's why I asked really, if I had to prepare to sell one of my other players. That wouldn't be difficult - any team would be lucky to have them! - just interested to know because I have 11 6*, 9 5* and 2 4* in my squad, so if the young player isn't at least a good 4* I will just be releasing him

This could make it worthwhile if the player is a decent 4*
