Free Kick specialist or guy with better Shooting?

I have a free Kick specialist with 100 shooting, but my best player has around 200 shooting and no special abilities.

Should I use the 200 shooting guy to take free kicks?

Also my best player has 200 in crossing so should I use him for corner kicks as the guy I have with corner kick special ability only has around 110 in crossing?

    Love specialist better. Check forum.

Better is to make tests. There are things that are non-sense in this game. A player with even 85% shooting might be a better free-kick taker than another player with 120% shooting. Even goalkeepers will score from free-kicks and assist from corners. I am not even sure the individual attributes displayed on the profile of players matter, and also not even sure for those supposed mutants too.

My tests indicated the better free-kick/penalty takers are those with both high Shooting and Finishing %, even if the finishing is a 'grey' skill (for MR). If they have an appropriate SA (Free-kick, Penalty kick, Shadow striker or 1-on-1 finisher) then the better.

ST with Corner-kick are rubbish at corners, I tend to use DL/DR with high Crossing %, again, if they have the appropriate SA, then the better.

An old scenario was saying that sa boost a player for +1* (for a specific action).
But still your specialist with 120% attributes is "weaker" than your 200% shooter.

    Anyway, try them both.
Put one in left side and the other in the right side.

OK I'll try putting the two different kickers on each side. I'm usually not able to watch all my matches so may be difficult to tell who is getting more assists or goals through coroners and free kicks. Anyway to keep track of this through any stats?

Only a F-A specialist makes a cool curve in his shoot.

The problem of all this, and thats why a SA can not be perceptible, is that the 1* is applied in the internal base of the player.
This "unlocks the SA" when this is completed, but if the inter4nal margin is too low, then is when the SA is not perceptible.
And for my calculations the external skills affect the internal ones in a proportion of 1/8 - 1/10 aprox.... even less in many cases due a "max. in the skill capacity by default" .... because we've seen players at 340% that literally "do nothing".

As always, a star player, can not be created, a star player should be found and developed. And this needs the sense of the understanding of "how to find a well player to be capable to develop X or Y job".

Thanks for the replies folks, so far I've not really observed much difference bwmetween the 2 other than my star player getting a few more assists and goals in general from simply taking more set pieces.

Make a striker with freekick special ability and shooting 150+ - finish 200+. Mine is counting till now 58 goals at his first year.
