New team => my first matches have been simulated??

Hi guys

I'm new to the game. Love how realistic it looks and feels, but something is weird...

I think I'm already in a league, but...I don't remember to have played those matches.


Actually I think they were "played" even before I created my team, because here is my very first league match:


Did the system actually simulate my first matches? Why? (1 loss - 1 draw => that kind of suck, I would have prefered to play them myself )

Because there is an "universal" season calendar?

What would happen if I'd come later? The "system" would have simulated 80% of my season?

The game looks great but some aspects are pretty unusual and a bit confusive, I must say.

Hope someone will be able to help me understand

PS : I've spent tokens to change my team name but the old name is still displayed in the league.

Yes, a bot manager played those games.
Nothing you can doo as the 1st day of a T11 season is universal.
Still you have plenty of time.
If you are "perfectionist" , count the days, prepare a new g account and start a new team at day one of the new season.
Meanwhile, make tests with that team to learn the game, the buttons, menu, environment etc

Or go just for the cup, tank in league -been 9th or +, and once you win the cup you keep a low Average Quality team, to stay again in Level 1 vs low quality rivals.

Thank you both for your answers, it makes it crystal clear.

Not sure I'm such a perfectionist, but yeah I'm (just a little bit) annoyed to have lost matches I was not able to play

But if the season calendar is universal, I suppose that this is the only way for the devs to integrate new players during an ongoing season.

As you said, I still have plenty of time, almost an entire season, so I think I'll accept my first results.

But just in case: when will start the next season exactly?

Looks like the current one will end on November 11.

stay again in same level, train only the white skills playing a lot of friendlies

and then repeat again, win the Cup and find some good platinum groum

10 November the season ends, always is the same, 28 days, 4 weeks, starting a Sunday,ending a Saturday.
