Goalkeeper or Goalleaker?

This may sound noob but how to buy a reliable and good goalkeeper. What white attribute to look for? Very pissed off with current goalkeeper despite with 10% bonus, full moral & health still 0 saves compare to weaker abandone team that with godlike keeper (average 100-115% on white attribute not 200 or 300% super mutant) with 8 saves vs 0 saves.

I think that GK are hit and miss. You may get one that scores regular 7-8 ratings but it depends how successful your team is as a whole. If you’re winning most games your GK will generally have a decent rating especially with a clean sheet however if you lose the GK may only get 4-6 ratings.
I look for a tall GK when buying but that’s it as I rely on my front players to score the goals that win games. Occasionally though my GK will have an outstanding game making lots of saves and I reckon this is purely down to the game algorithms.

There aren't good GKs in TE.
They are cosmetics.
Just reflect the roll dice and calculations of the game .

If I was to replace my seven star keeper with a three star one would it make a difference?

yes
The general quality of a player matters (in 1-1 duels), as the contribution in team's gen. quality, as in the bar of defense (when comparing two teams), as the % of success in opponent's free kicks.
So it affects the calculations.
But if you replace a 5* GK which you believe is good (or bad) and reliable with a 5* GK you just bought from auctions, it won't make any difference.

- giving 320 tokens to make your GK 9*
- playing your Cup final in penalties
- oppo has 4/4 penalties while your GK just standing in the middle
- till his 5th player, a penaltiy-specialist is loosing the shoot

Thx guys for the info. By the way, which is better, reflex or agility? Or train more punching or ariel? Plain keeper or keeper with SA? One on one SA keeper tend to fail a lot, not too proud with penalty specialist SA keeper as well.

It doesn't matter.
You can't distinguish those skills in the game.
In generalls, GK is a hole in the T11 program.
At the old days, you could keep your injured GK in the game without conceded a goal
Now if you have a GK with penalties sa, this doesn't activate when oppo is kicking a penalty but if you have a GK with 1-1, this is blinking in penalties

Forget the special abilities for GK, better do train for quality.
