I am not understanding why I am being given a message of preseason and preparing for the new year. I just finished week 25. There is one week left on the schedule. I am in second place with the last match to go. any idea why this is happening?

Can we see a screenshot please? You should have at least one more League game.

Try reinstall the game. This looks like a bug to me.

Wait until the 24hr reset clock where you get a daily bonus and what not. This happened to me like four seasons ago and it fixed itself after the daily reset. I think it's a bug because so many people are playing on different time zones and some seasons have ended already whereas some seasons still have 3 or 2 games left (I still have 2 league games left).

It's done that after the Friday reset every single season since I started. Always says "pre-season" with one more league game to go. Just carry on as usual, you can still preview that 26th league match from your Fixtures tab and use your Squad tab to make adjustments etc.

I've had that before when the last match of the season was scheduled for 12:10am...
