Joining and then forgetting I joined does sound like something I'd do. Although what's the view button for? Shouldn't it let me view something, as I think it says join when you want to sign up.
do you see in right-down corner a button saying "Training" ?

No. The event screen just says 'in progress' and 'view'. The view button does nothing.
It let me sign up just now, so it's not "closed". And now when I click "View" it has the "Training" button in the bottom right as nikol refered to. Maybe re-install, try again after the daily reset in a few hours, or submit an in-game ticket.

Hi Barfly, Are you trying to join through the Events tab in the navigation? If so, please try the challenge window on the home screen beneath your next fixture. Let me know if that helps.
