I challenge you guys to name one feature of the game related to the live match simulator that you can / could prove 100% that it works since the 20% ball bonus penalization for illegal formation.

Score = impossible to predict 100%
Win = impossible to predict 100%
Free kicks / Penalties = impossible to predict 100% even if is a 7 stars taker vs a 2 stars goalkeeper or defensive wall.
Player performance = impossible to predict even if is a 3,4 stars difference between players or more.

Apart from the 20% ball possession on illegal formations couple of years ago, is there anything we ever truly know about how the game works? If yes, please prove it.

None of them can or could be proved

Well... this always has een dynamic... just since the change of game margins it is contained at some point so thats why we have no control of asolutely anything right now, as a -60% can equalize your possession. etc

what were bidding wars like then? its no longer just about ego but about getting a return on investment. how did you guys have enough tokens during that era, i assume alot was lost on players you couldn't get.

Now you get the tokens back indeed but the inflation increased by 100 to 10.000% or even more.

Before with a bit of time on your hands you could easily create a great team with less than 20 tokens, now you literally have no chance. I use to buy 18,19 years old players with SA and multiple position with 1 Token and this was every single season.

Now indeed you get tokens back but all the prices increased because there's no strategy left.
