I literally had to set up a guys team and drum it into him his tactics were rubbish. He had quality of 6-7 stars and had so many tokens, he named them after Newcastle players. Once he listened, he started to win.

Excellent post, btw. Very useful and good advice.
I have nothing against Token-buying scum...er....Tommy token. I have spent tokens on this game but small amounts here or there. But my whole point of this is: if Tommy token complains and gets no attention from Nordeus, even AFTER they "donate" to the Nordeus bank accounts, do you think that it might be time to rethink the "donation" action and start to make some more noise?

Tommy token is preventing the advancement of this website because of its "cash-cow status". Why fix it if it aint broke? Nordeus does not see a broken game, but we do. They have no incentive to fix it unless managers leave in droves, which is not going to happen.

    So the cycle goes on....

You know what I see? I see members mistaking the game engine in T11 for the game engine for Football Manager. People have to realise, if the AI was as good as Football Manager, do they really think they'd allow it to be free on Facebook? They'd sell it in shops and compete with EA.

Donations for Nordeous are no different than speeding up vegetables growth in Farmville.

This is true but I believe it is much more profitable and less expensive for Nordeus to use FB as an outlet to address the masses. Think about it: no packaging costs, available to 1 billion people, no consoles to make several versions for, and really, no competition. IF Football manager were smart, they would do what Nordeus is doing and they would put Nordeus out of business.

EA wouldn't do that, they'd cost themselves money by taking FM fans to an app.
    That would be incredible though!

The market is different, FM tried a peer to peer game and it fell on its arse so they tanked it. They're smart enough to know that they are at the top of the market for what they do, so they focus on that

And the gunman is right, T11 has a much simpler engine than FM that allows it to work in this format

Not to everyone's liking of course, but then I know a lot of people (including me) who get furious with FM too
