Age is irrelevant when it comes to scoring/assisting.. only helps with player development.

It might be the formation you're playing because my midfielders hardly score as well. Or it could be that your player is an utter failure like a few of mine and cannot score if their lives depended on it

maybe your midfield is not feeding him properly. Sounds like you have Torres on Chelsea instead of Torres on Liverpool.

I have a 5 star ST and he has the most assists in my league and is in the top 5 for goals, so I dont care as long as he assists or scores = he does his job.

Just see what he does next season and do what the others say to do...renew his contract??? really. Dont ask me why.

Idk whats with this player..I play him in the right position but the funny thing is, he's scored in all my important matches..Like against stronger teams. really weird.

Keep him until next season, see if he gets better otherwise sell him or adapt a formation with AML+AMR

Same with my CB I got at the beginning of the season from my youth academy. Every game I played with him his match rating is a 4, 6, or mostly 5. Guess that's just back luck or something.

I had 6 stars MC with even less goals. Few seasons ago I had striker with 8 goals in 19 games (striker....,6 stars + one on one SA).

Like dv8r, age is irrelevant.

I have a 6 star Playmaker MC and he has 4 goals and no assist in 31 games. However, I'm not disturbed too much since I have 2 AM's and 2 ST. The four share 58 goals and 39 assists anyway. I am surprised about the passing though considering his ability and all.

This is a good thing - maybe he thinks he's above playing 'little' teams!

On a serious note, I deliberately mixed my team up to include weaker squad members when playing weaker opposition - and two of my lower quality players bossed it, a striker with 20+ goals and a MC with 15+ in the league
