Crazy season for transfers already?

Usually I see this sort of thing in week one of the new season:





In the first case, the player's actual market value was £3.42m and in the second it was £1.03m. All four of the bidders used well over 50 tokens because there were multiple bids in each round

Today I saw an auction with 35 bids. This is insane... O.o

And they don't remember in 2 days the player drops 1 star? Maybe they don't know that.

Both players are a few points from 6*, so they will easily be 5* for next season. I've bought a few players recently at the same quality - the difference is I paid well under market value and only a few tokens

If I had that many tokens to spend, I'd be buying scouts on day 1

I got this player by 1 token 3 days ago and sold him yesterday

Just a bunch of noob bidders on the auction there, yes wait for new season and take your best scout players from the list.

Think the auction winners were both league leading token buyers, it's not spending the money or tokens that really surprises me - it's the timing of the bid war

For some people money is no object. I see it all over the place in this game. Myself, new in Spain, I cant justify spending hundreds or thousands on this game over the course of a year. Really, this game is not worth it.
