Well... I'm a ex-gambler so I know how the odds work, favour the bookies all the time, I know the general 2-way odds when one is odds on and the other is odds against... lol All this betting in play... but I can work out what you mean about your chances of getting through to the next round or not. 4/11 Perfect Tactics vs Sly FC 2/1 sounds about right based on what info you've given me.

CL 1/4 round, 1st leg - Perfect Tactics 3-0 Sly FC

A comfortable win for Perfect Tactics but it almost was an exact score line as last season when we conceded a late goal to make it 3-1 which of course cost us the trophy. We got off to a wonderful start, Vittalone put us a goal up on 6 minutes from a counter attack from Goff's accurate pass. That was pretty much the story today as we kept hitting our opponents on the counter attack, it was then 2-0 after Andre brought down Petersen in the box and from the penalty, Petersen struck high into the net. 2-0 soon became 3-0 when Pistov was put through on goal and setting up Suarez for his 8th goal of the season. We didn't seem to bother in the 2nd half and we looked like we stepped off the pedal a bit. There was a huge chance for Sly FC to make it 3-1 when Dulev was through on goal and his decision to pass instead of shoot resulted in a corner. It was a bit of a worry since his 7* corner specialist was taking it, however a handball given against Sly FC meant we safely go through into the 2nd leg with a clean sheet and we are in a great position to make it into the next round. Goff was incredible today and deserved man of the match, he is probably the reason we kept a clean sheet today with important tackles and blocks.

Goals: Vittalone (6'), Petersen (29' PEN), Suarez (40')
    MOTM: Goff

    Result Just In...

LIVERPOON FT 0-1 crvena zvezda... Egbeta scores the winner in the 1st leg for crvena zvezda and 2nd favourites LIVERPOON could be making an exit in the quarter-finals of the Champions League... and if this happens then July Fourth will become odds-on favourites to retain their Champions League crown.

    CHAMPIONS LEAGUE QUARTER-FINAL PREVIEW

July Fourth vs Equimetal SAD Tonight
Equimetal SAD vs July Fourth Saturday

    July Fourth 112.3 - Equimetal SAD 105.8

Before even thinking about what happens in the other ties in our Champions League competition, we must think about our own... Equimetal SAD are an ex-scout team with various players 5* and 6* and their entire starting line-up all contain special abilities... hmmm... We can match Equimetal SAD's special abilities but we possess the extra quality in our team. But this is still a difficult game on paper to win. Equimetal have real life names like... Frank Lampard, Emmanuel Emenike, Philip Lahm, Wesley Sneijder (I just played another Sneijder against Takis recently) and... CR7. At least they don't have the other obvious name (Lionel Messi). But to us it makes no difference or does it? It make us more determined to beat these pretenders. I may have David Seaman and Tony Adams but at least they are legendry players for club and country. We are also boosted by the return of a certain Ivor Hardy as well this evening, but we needed to throw him 3 greens to get him up and ready fitness-wise and we have no players in suspension. Their prefered formation is 4-3W-1-2.

To Qualify: July Fourth 1/5, Equimetal SAD 7/2

1st Leg Odds: July Fourth 2/5, Draw 3/1 Equimetal SAD 11/2
2nd Leg Odds: Equimetal SAD 11/4, Draw 9/4, July Fourth EVS

SPECIAL BET: July Fourth to win the 1st leg 5-0... 33/1.

    Balkan Boyz - Matchday 19 (Sz.5 - lvl5)

HEADLINE: Galatasaray AŞ surprised Balkan Boyz in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final.

    CL: Balkan Boyz (Q50,5) Formation: 4-2N-2W-2/3W-3N-2W-2 >> 4 - 2 << Galatasaray AŞ (Q35,1) Formation: 4-4.2
    SCORERS: I.Olić (40min), E.Džeko (44min.ass:S.Jovetić), M.Salem (56min.ass:B.Yilmaz), H.Salihamidžić (58min.ass:S.Jovetić), L.Modrić (83min) and C.Castro (86min.ass:M.Salem).
    SUBS: H.Salihamidžić < > L.Modrić S.Kolašinac < > S.Sušić
    MOTM: NONE

Balkan Boyz was left surprised tonight in their Champions League quarter-final game against "Galatasaray AŞ", as they managed to collect a hard earned 4 - 2 win at "Balkan Boyz Stadium" in front of 19,000 cheering spectators. The Turkish opposition started the game with a very offensive-minded system and had 3 goal scoring opportunities the first 35 minutes, but GK Asmir Begović cleared the ball away. And just as Galatasaray AŞ seemed to take the lead, Ivica Olić made a breakthrough and scored 1 - 0 for the hometeam. 4 minutes later, a Jovetić corner found the head of Edin Džeko as he extended the lead to 2 - 0 just before the end of the first half. Galatasaray AŞ made a couple of substitutions in the beginning of the second half and managed to reduce the score to 2 - 1 through Mohammed Salem, assisted by Burak Yilmaz. But once again, Balkan Boyz responded well and Hasan Salihamidžić's shoot in the 58minute got Balkan Boyz a 3 - 1 lead. Galatasaray AŞ tried to put some pressure on the hometeam the last quarter by making another offensive substitution, but it was Luka Modrić's long shot who got the Balkan Boyz a 4 - 1 goal just before Christian Arturo Castro scored Galatasaray AŞ second goal to 4 - 2.

Manager -Ljepoje- admitted that he was surprised to see his side concede 2 goals in their quarter-final game against Galatasaray AŞ in the 1th leg at "Balkan Boyz Stadium". "Galatasaray AŞ surprised us tonight, they were far better than we had expected and outplayed us in the first 35 minutes. Perhaps we underestimate them. I believe that we need to have a look at how we approached this game because our tactics and set –up did not work today. We need to regroup and try to salvage our campaign to reach the semi-finals. This result was just not acceptable".

In other news, Balkan Boyz managed to beat the Turkish team "Vanspor FC" with 1 - 4 after goals by Ivica Olić (x2), Stevan Jovetić (x1) and Mateo Kovačić (x1). A game in which Ivica Olić was declared as MoM (rate:9). The win means that Balkan Boyz holds onto first place with 45 points and are 2points clear in front of the Israeli team "Iztik Yan" (43points) with FC Kula at a 3rd place (42points) and Colchoneros CF at a 4th place on 26points. Balkan Boyz will play the Israeli team "FC Niro" tomorrow at home. The kickoff is set at 14:43CET. Later on that evening, Balkan Boyz will play two friendlies against Balkanceros and OFK Omladinac.
