They are actually from Senior Centre, the building with the fountain next to the U21 academy...They are added because of retired players, and they was the player while they are playing for the team when it was managed by a robot manager...

The senior centre players will only arrive if there is a gap in your team, they will fill your team with players to complete starting 11+7 subs...

Cuz young players are too valuable, if you sell them they will give you tons of $$$, so they have to replace them with crappy, useless player from the Senior Centre. This is recognised as "temp player" or simply "temps".
