[Official] Morale Changes - 15th of September

Hi Managers!

With the beginning of the next season (15th of September), we'll be releasing the dynamic Morale Feedback to all our Managers.

A big thank you to everyone who was part of the slow rollout for sharing their feedback with us.

Morale Feedback will give you a further explanation of why your player’s Morale has decreased or increased. Are you giving your player enough playing time? Did he score a hat-trick or made an assist? Is your team struggling or topping the League table?

You will be able to find the indicators in the Players screen under the tab Morale or in the Assistant Report.

Together with this, Morale is going to be more dynamic, with “Good” level being the new baseline. However, the new “Good” is going to be more impactful than “Superb” in the current system. New “Superb” is higher than ever. Always be sure to check the Feedback section to have a better idea of how you can impact their Morale status.

With this change, we wanted to enhance the Manager-Player relationship and give you a better understanding of your player's state.

My question is , what is the impact of low morale on a player ? Bad perfonmance ? Mental aspect affected ? Nervous behaviour ?

Good question.

Or will it be like the so-called player team play bonus that users of the forum itself said that it is cosmetic.

By the way, the medical facility should generate morale packs too; football managers are not qualified sport psychologists or psychiatrists for them to be able to improve players morale on their own.

haven't seen any changes ... yet. maybe after my first match. Attachment 129338

I just played my main team.... and there are no changes in morale the new feature is not working in my server...

I won my first match with 2-0 and 3 players went from very good to good morale.... just like last season

Apologies for the confusion; new Morale feedback will be visible from tomorrow. At present, the new system is taking effect and requires competitive matches (non-Friendlies) in order to develop actionable feedback. From tomorrow, you will be seeing feedback in the Morale tab. We'll update the thread as soon as feedback becomes visible for all Managers.

Incorrect information from Nordeus again. After my (non-friendly) Cup match I still see the same information as last season. Are you trying to say that morale information will be updated not earlier than the next day?? What about the second (non-friendly) game of the day? Will this game be played with the same morale as the first one?

apparently those who've new shop don't know how to screenshot it from their mobile phone or computer.
and i'm not kidding.

...or perhaps they don't give a toss what their shop looks like because they never use it...

This might be bad, but maybe your team should have won by more goals (5-0 was sort of below expectations).

Is it a daily status or after an official game.
Asso games count as what ?

I think they did a reset to yellow morale, for all players (stupid)... My bench players who were all red, are now yellow...

My take on how it works... morale will always move towards 'Good'. So if a player has a normal game and you win, but there's nothing for them that particularly improves their morale they will continue moving towards 'Good'. If their morale before the game is 'Very Good' or 'Superb' their morale will likely decrease as it moves towards 'Good'. If there's something about the game that increases their morale (where you will get a message in the Assistant Manager tab) that will effectively stop the movement to 'Good', holding them at 'Very Good' or 'Superb' if that's where they started, or moving a player from 'Good' to 'Very Good'. If there's something about the game that decreases their morale that will speed up the movement to 'Good', or take a player down to 'Poor' or 'Very Poor'.

So morale is going to continue going down if you have high morale at the start of the game, and it will be impossible to maintain 'Superb' morale through performances alone - that will always require blue packs. At best, with a good run of strong performances it looks like you should be able to maintain most of your team at 'Very Good'.

hehe, can i hope for this messege -
we lost from abandoned team without manager and proper trainings and our players are furiously mad about it, all players morale will be highest for next 5 matches and their performance will be 125% of their curent stats :p :D

First match finished today - these messages appeared in the Assistant box after the match:

Nice, but these players didn't play (one on the bench, the other in reserves).

Then have a look at the individual players - every one said exactly the same, including this one, who wasn't in he team last season (a Youth player bought and power-trained up today)

All players are still at the same Morale setting as before the match, as far as I can see (2nd Leg Cup Match, away, won 8-0).

A simple question :
If I have two players, wingers, AML-AMR with the same quality and characteristics, both with Good morale and I give to one of them a double blue pack (so gets superb morale)
what will be the difference in game calculations ?

He plays with smile, he will be happy :)

its all cosmetic and hokum to fool you into using more blues and watching vids for blues instead of greens

Superb is on an all-time high. So having your player on Superb level will unlock the possibility to have an extraordinary performance. However, it also depends on a player itself and other factors like player skills, condition, training, etc.

As I expected, the new feature is nothing but dissapointment...

My MC scores a goal today... He got rating 8.8... But, he is concerned 'cause he "hasn't provided assist recently" and his morale went to good... Really??? This is IDIOTIC... And that concern appeared after just 5 games... By my stats, MC players provide assists once in 20+ games... Do I have to use blue pack for him, for every of next 15 games???

Here, I did summary of last 10 MCs played for one of my teams...

Goals: 1 in 7.3 to 20.7 games...
Assists: 1 in 19.7 to 53.3 games...

Striker scored 3 in a 7-1 win, rated a 10.0 and morale dropped from Superb to Very Good. :D

To keep the Superb level a player needs a streak of amazing results just like this. However, a Very Good is still excellent and higher than ever which will also allow your player to have an amazing performance.

Instead of morale feedback, could we get a game engine that doesn't troll 4-7 times a season, especially in the finals?

He had good morale (if I am not mistaken) and he stayed at good while all other players in my team got to very good. But when you buy players, they come as very good, don't they? Or after the recent update, they come with good morale only? I had a look now in his morale status details; it says satisfied with playing time.
