Anything less than 30T for an 18yo is good. I would say 28T is not unusual even in week 3.

Yeah, but to spend 30 or so tokens at this time of the season with the risk later that he could be a slow trainer is a bit too much. If such a player turns out to be a slow trainer, he probably will be not much useful to those that play a certain way. I had two players that turned out to be slow ones and they rarely played a game this season itself, and they cannot be of much use next season given that they will lag too much in quality.
