How do you guys line up for penalties? How do you win them? Because I think I've been in maybe 10 career positions where my team goes to penalties and I think I only have won them twice. No lie. Against weaker teams. Against stronger teams. 2/10 penalty situations I have won. I have tried putting all of my best finishers at the start, I've tried saving the best for last, I've tried sending the worst first, I've tried all attacking penalty taking (sub out defenders at the last minute for AMLS and stuff to have better options to take), I've had penalty kick stopper specialist goalkeepers, I've had one on one stopper specialist goal keepers. I just don't know what to do.

I lost another penalty today in the Semis of the cup and he was stronger it was like 104.5% against 88% team (mine). But I feel like all the fun of me competing against him was taking out of me when I see my star finisher with 143% finishing and 132% shooting steps up as the first kicker and just kicks it wide? Yeah. Meanwhile the other guys team didn't miss ANY kicks. My second guy gets blocked, he was a DL so lol. But what I noticed, no matter what or who is out there, the game will ALWAYS. ALWAYS. Make me miss the first or second penalty kick no matter who takes it. Is there anyway to line up or anything Im doing wrong? I'm just tired of losing penalties all the time. I could have had many trophies (and another final appearance) if this game would just program my finisher to finish in these situations.

I usually use the players with the highest shoot ranking and use the better player for the last shot, but i think its kind of random the turnout

My penalty taker has shooting and finishing > 200% and he sometimes missed by shooting wide or stopped by some 3-4 stars keepers.

I think PK are totally random. Not sure it makes any difference who you put as takers. Not even sure the PK SA has any effect as I’ve had those players put theirs on the moon.

I don’t know really, I just put my favourite striker first, he will be retiring next season . I then put mostly wingers and attackers for penalties and see how that works out, I never use defenders because they are defenders, I would only use them if they had a special ability for penalties.

Obviously use special ability penalty takers if you have them and if not, I would say use your wingers and attacking players.

All though you can’t really do anything except select penalty takers.

What I do I just select strikers and wingers and ones with special abilities and hope the Nordeus gods are on my side. Be a use in truth the penalty shootouts are just luck based things.

I have only ever played in 2 penalty shootouts in the actual competitions, one in the cup Quarter Finals which I won and the other being in the biggest match on the entire game, the Champions League Final, I lost that penalty shootout, it was a tough pill to swallow, we were the stronger team and their team had a goalkeeper man of the match.

Unlucky, I am into my 3rd consecutive cup final and going for 3 in a row, we got an 89th minute winner.

I've made a test today in the event, as I don't have a chance to go for the prizes i play every game for the greens and take time to make some tests.

The game agaist a slighter stronger team (115% vs 125%) was near the end with 1-1, so I took out 2 defender and put in 2 ST at 120min, result i won the penalty shootout and both ST scored...

I do that some times, I sub one player with an attacker from the bench with higher attacking skills.
But it's not so useful because when the procedure goes to the 6th-7th penalty, it stops and gives the victory to opponent.
