The thing is that this game does (or surely did) favour attacking midfielders for goals, assists and high ratings, especially wingers, but it is not always the case that someone will have a bad performing ST or even a decent-performing one only. The two cases above are proofs itself, and Niks Inzaghi can be another one though he played him at times on the left wing as he trained him to play AML and he regularly took free-kicks in some period. But for me, those players are simply better as compared to others, that is, they have better hidden attributes. Their presence in the team are regular felt; they do not go absent for long.

Nik’s team is good, I have 6 star wingers, (high for my level) and they have scored 40 goals each or so.
And hardly any of the teams on my server could cope with them, the only team that successfully stopped them was Jaya FC, today with a shock 0-1 loss, and Rodrigo FC who were 19% weaker than us.
They beat us at home and it was our first time we lost at home in all competitions in 42 matches.
And my 36 game unbeaten streak came to a close too, I know I lost the cup final, but that was in extra time and it goes down on my club history as a draw inside 90 minutes so it counts.

the game still does favour aml and amr. Amc not so much. My amr last season at 68 q outperformed my st at 80 plus percent. And my aml who had similar q with the st was my best player. My st had more assists than goals. My amc had the best q and white skills took the fk and pk so it won’t be fair to include him. But yeah my aml and amr outperformed him as well.
And wow, thats really high quality. Thanks.
I think 36 goals and 28 assist without set piece like you mentioned should be best performer or close to it. That’s not a big difference in quality so ST can perform. Just need to find the right guy. Mine was pretty similar in quality as well but no such luck for me
