Season 124 - Are you ready?

I always have good ST. My current ST scores 36 goals and has 28 assists this season without any set pieces. Just to make sure that his quality is more than qualities of AMx.

My ST has a bit more quality than my other attackers too, he did not assist by taking corners and he only took free-kicks from one side. So, maybe if some users get a good ST and train him to a good enough quality, the ST will perform better as opposed to using a 5-star striker but close to 7-star wingers in the same team.

Another thing is that my ST came with penalty kick special ability by default but people might tend to get the impression that STs with penalty kick specialist are significantly worst than those having one-on-one scorer special ability or free-kick special ability. It is more about the player itself than the special ability; the special ability is just an added bonus, and of course I would have prefered for a ST with free-kick special ability but not at the cost of him not scoring and contributing enough from open play.

I bought my ST last season (was 18 y.o) from the daily recommendation list as a suggested improvement over my what I would say a very average to crap performing 18 y.o ST that I bought that same season from the auction list. His first match was an association match and he scored 4 goals. After that, he was not that noticeable, and I will say that he was just good in the remaining of that first season, but the second season he is the player of the season so far.
