Season 126 - Are you ready?

Again, a league loss. What could have a good upturn for Hakurei United was crushed by what was supposed to be a non championship contender. The match was also the first time in league Hakurei United did not manage to net a single goal to their opponent.



A different story occured in Champions League, however, with the team securing the W in the return leg after the previous 3-1 win. Oh, and with the players having Yellow morales and less than 40% Stamina. Now we're talkin' (No, I didn't attend the CL game)

2 tough games today, won 3-0 and 0-2 respectively. 16/16 so far
The CL was by far the toughest game for me with 2 goals scored in the 80s minutes. The opponent might have PTB.
He is currently 3rd with 3 points out of 4 games, and the 2nd place has 9 points. The 2nd place has game with me home, so he will get trashed. Hopefully the 3rd place might win Away against him.

Both teams had a fairly easy day today, and both were thankfully injury and red-card free.

Desert Rats FC hosted the next-bottom team in the League and romped home 8-0 to keep their challenge at the top of the table going. In the evening they completed the double over their Champions League opponents, winning 4-0 at home, ensuring their progression to the Knockout phase of the competition. Player of the day was utility winger Roberto Alatorre, scoring 6 goals in total; 4 in the League match and a brace in the Champions League.



Nouvion Ville FC visited the bottom team in the League and, with a few fringe players in the starting XI, took 31 minutes to get onto the scoresheet, but after the first one went in the goals flowed thereafter. Ex-youth graduate reserve striker Lee Howe was obviously gunning for first-choice status, netting the first five goals, leaving winger Santiago Valdez and midfielder Tom Herd to mop up the remainder. Nouvion also ensured Knockout stage action in the Champions League after a 5-0 win, also defeating their visitors for the second time. Valdez was the hat-trick scorer this time out, left-back Eoghan Byrne and Howe scoring the others.

First away win at the league was obtained today. Iliyan Angushev's solitary goal was enough to bump Hakurei United to the promotion spot today



Bad news, however, with the 14th placed team, Ranger 69, getting activated again and started recruiting 5* players, throwing more spanners in our path

You need some guidance.... start by testing the men for FKs and corners... till you find the one that scores from there... you only need one single player in both positions btw.

I have no FK specialist sadly so I dunno if assigning ST for it is a good choice or not

I currently am assigning my 4* MC for it

As for Corner I have Ryssdal, which is my CK Specialist, handling the duty

It doesn't matter absolutely the SA, you can have 5 players with FK inside the team and see how your GK scores practically all from there and the other 5 miss continously.
Check well thse positions cause it helps if you score every single corner or FK... then I guess what you need to learn is about pay attention to the possession bar and how to turn it if it isn't in your favour by switching mentality and focussing passing in a different way. Think in it

Failed to pick up league W again against a midfield team with better quality. For some reason. I experimented on other midfielders for FK but no luck



So decided to switch lineups for the CL by placing the 1* Free YA player on the starting lineup, Placing Cameron Hepple in AMR position instead of ST once more, changed the FK takers to a DF and Mitchell Franco, the GK

Scored 1 via Corner it looks like and GK scored via FK

Oppo was the one who beat us 5-2 in the first leg. Granted I changed into 4-5-1 V instead of 4-1-2-1-2 ND...

So now u keep the GK for left/right FK and i you see the other guy assisting oftenly from corners u need to focuss on training both to increase their contribution ratio, as these are 2 scources to earn goals.
