How come gks sa works like this?

I experienced this twice in this event. Both times against the same team. I had 4 PK shootouts in this event in total. My GK has no SA but I always have the PK SA against this particular team and both times I won. This team was slightly stronger in overall quality but is actually much stronger because his whites skills are very high with 1 percent greys.

I only managed to beat him through PK. He toasted me in the other times we played each other.

In my opinion all the special abilities are somewhat cosmetic, of course the game sometimes show when they are active, but who says that a player wouldn't have headed out a corner when he didn't have aerial defender or he wouldn't have scored a free kick when he wasn't specialist for that.

All my players have SA's but I have met teams without any SA or maybe just 1 freekick taker and they just did fine as well...

This is an old bug that's happening at the events mostly.
I 'm sure there is a thread in Bugs.
