Value of players

Tried to find answers on this, but with no succsess.

I've noticed that two players with the same skill level and same age may have a huge difference in value. Does a high valuable player develope faster than a cheaper one?

And another question. I want to counter my opponents tactic, but I don't have an AML. Will my ML suck if set him as AML?

the higher the value of the player is the faster he will develop.
and if you play ML as AML of course he won't perform perfectly, he could perform alright but the chances are lower.

Play him ML but put a 'red arrow' on him and he will attack more but will tire much faster.

I read that I should put red arrows on all midfielders(except DMC) and attackers and blue on defenders. Should'nt I do that?

You don't want to play with too many arrows as it messes up your playing style. Also only play blue on defenders if your opponent doesn't have a shadow striker. Kinda obvious since it gives them space to shoot and score easier

Red on all flank players and your striker.
