Thanks for the support,
Just won the league match against #4 with 4-0.. and my CL semi with 5-1 in my home game...so that looks like a final also

Predictably I was destroyed 1-5 in the home leg of the CL semifinal. Had no chance against a team nearly 20% stronger than mine. Which brings me to what I wanted to ask a few days ago already. How does one "manipulate draws"? By assembling a weaker first eleven going into the new season or does something more complex have to be done?
Anyway, all my focus is now on the league. 3 points ahead and one of the two crucial games coming up tomorrow. If I win it, the title is 90% mine.
Hmmm mine was 5-1 as well and so was maloukees. Pure coincidence?
The draw takes the quality of your best 14 players irrespective of whether they are on your bench or in your youth academy.
So the guide recommends to keep 8 of your best players and 6 of your worst. Sell the rest and Release your youth players. If your youth players are the lowest quality you have, keep them.

These are my opponents in th CL and the cup.... most close to me was the CL final what I won in the first semi, normally the margin between us is enough for a final...
The cup final is at 1am that is sleeping time I hope that I get support from TE friends so I can win that back to back.

Tried and tested with 8 players would surely work. Usually that would give you an advantage of close to 30%+ in finals, unless drawn with similar manipulating teams or scout buying players (Last season a league opponent did buy 8 scout players to fight for the title with me and he still lost ;) , so this does happen even when it is rare).
And if one has 5 x 1* players, even 9 players would work, as I have done by bringing 9 players of average quality of 120%. Best opponent is ‘only’ 95% in CL final and 83% in Cup final when both started their season around 72-73%, when mine starts the season around 110% with 2 additions of 90% players to complete the first-11 and now is 121% after strengthening.
Will update further on 10 players brought forward next season to see if it works as well.
Very nice for such a large-margin first-leg win in a semi. That means you can bench all your starters who are already on 1 yellow card and ensure them to be available for the final.
And you’d rather beat this opponent in the semi than facing them in the final too.
Good luck with your CL final!
You know that 20 to 30 percent advantage in quality in the finals. I think i only benefitted from it only half the time. It might be my formation or tactical issues as i have had many close shaves. Keeping 10 players already? 1 stars finally low enough :) Need more time for mine, started preparing too late.
Cup finals oppo Almost 90
CL final oppo Almost 80
SuperCup Oppo if i get there Almost 100
I am 112 now. Good luck for the Cup finals!
Correct mate...
I keep the starting 11 and the subs I sell after my last match where I can win something,.,.... The last season mostly after the Supercup......
Otherwise I spent many houts just to find the right players in the right positions,...
Then later when I buy or use the YA players , after training them, my player from the starting 11 becomes a sub for my main 11 team
Yeah..
just won against #1 with 2-1, their first lose in the league....
We are now with 4 games to go still 1 point behind with the little better goaldifference....
Hopefully they make a draw after their first lose in the league so i can grab the title...
As they say, it is not over until the fat lady sings right?
Thats is exactly what i go through. Hours at the auctions. So far i have managed it but at a cost. When i get frustrated, i tend to get into a bidding war and end up regretting later. You keep YA players? They count for the draw as well! Do you count them as part of your first 11?
Well done on your league win! Keep it up, you might get lucky.
Congrats Silly for winning the cup.
I have also won the cup , score 3-0.
Suazo just got suspended for the next league game and he will most likely miss another chance to hit 100 goals in a season. Thank you, NORDEUS !
Suazo s record was 106 goals in 50 games 2 seasons ago.
now he needs to score like 12 in 5 games to equalize it
if Suazo isn t near the record giants in terms of scoring, he definetely is with 65 assists in 50 games, haven t seen someone having similar stats in a season so far, someone can correct me if i m wrong.
Also suazo has 1 assists so far in his career up to 24 years of age, which is splendid.
He might join the assists gang at the end of his career. That day will definetely be a sad one.:(
@Sillybq, If you lose the Super Cup to that six star opponent, yes it will be disappointing but at least you won’t lose to him in the CL Final, the Super Cup is really just a glorified friendly with no rewards than just a trophy for aesthetics and the typical match income or whatever. Don’t worry about losing a Super Cup, it is a trophy but not the best one to win, keep your focus on winning the Champions League and that could be your bonus, I understand that you would like the clean sweep of trophies but you know what I mean
Just won the Cup!!!
Thanks to my friends who supported me, I was not there because 1:40am for me.. but my friends were thanks so much mates!!

I keep the YA, so I could sell the position they take over in my first 11 and power train them at day 1 in the season... I tried to buy players but take so long even just to see the rigt players for the right positions so I go for the YA players.... and if I need more buy later in the season ,, day 1 is such a crazy day on the market
Congrats to Superdunk and Maloukees for winning their Cups too.
@Max Yup, i know what you mean. Would still be disappointing to lose it though. This one is effort vs money. Trained vs purchased. With me having a slight edge. Around 12 percent as of today.
Bizarre ending to my CL campaign. Won the away leg 2-3, coming back from 2-0 down. He was 117% while I actually rested some of my best players for the league and was 88%. Should have been an even bigger demolition than the 1-5 I suffered at home in the first leg... But somehow I won this one. Shame it wasn't a final, because there is no way this fluke could have happened in two matches.
Lost my first league game of the season yesterday. Me and Cristal are level on points going into final four games, goal difference is in my favor. Every single one is a must win now, and there is going to be a lot of pressure on me to win away to Red Devil FC, the highest quality opponent. Bummer, I had a streak of 44 games without a loss in the league, and just this one slip up can be costly.
My season has gone bad as excepted but that is because I am currently tanking, I am assembling a new squad for next season but I am in 8th place due to some good form, now, I better lose a few games on the trot so I can repeat level. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...26bab2a938.png

Be careful, Max ! If you promote then you ll ruin the next season.
Just won the away semifinal game 11-0 after barely winning 5-2 at home.
Cruising in the final being big favorite, with 30% difference in my favor.
Suazo scored his 99th goal in 45 games and will miss the league game unfortunately. To beat his previous record he needs 8 goals in 4 games.
Fun fact: I am facing the 3rd place from the league in the CL final and possibly 2nd in the super cup.
What a small world
I already have done and we still somehow lost just 2-1, 9th lost, we need them to win once or twice because we are still 3 points ahead, if we do not finish outside the top 8 I will be inactive again next season.

A more effective way to do it is a team with only 1DC and 1DL/DR with 2GKs and no MC, and hard attacking via middle with long pass. The team will keep losing possession and get countered to lose, which is the exact opposite of what we do to win by overcrowding the defence and midfield against better opponent to win by counter. ;)
