What is it with selling players nowadays?

I've had a couple of players from each team on the market all day today and they still haven't sold. They used to sell in three or four hours previously. I want to clear the squad slots out for future purchases...

Scaleable Auction Prices
As part of more players joining your club every season, we’ve made small tweaks to how players can be sold. Adjusting the price to the player’s quality will increase the chances of selling them.
