friendly matches are pointless imo...a total waste of a players energy...especially if they need it...
but...
i have a couple of friends whom i don't play...i just watch pretty much all their games to help their possession %...n to watch how different formations react to each other...useful...

Do you know how to train your players? Friendly matches often bring in more skill points than training! When i started League 2 I only had a couple of 4 star players, mostly 3 star. Now most of my players are 4-6 star and progressing nicely. I've played a lot of friendlies, they do indeed help up the stats of your team.friendly matches are pointless imo...a total waste of a players energy...especially if they need it...
