Can anyone explain why the game says I finished 2nd?

I finished the season with joint most points (73), goal difference (100), goals scored (111) with another team.

In the games between us, we drew the first game but I won the second game.

So, why didn’t I win the league? Can someone help?
I got screenshots but I don’t know how to post them lol

Has this happened to anyone else?

The game gave me the ‘Unlucky’ achievement (lose the league on goal difference - which I hadn’t!) to cap it off. Very frustrating

If someone can help I’d appreciate it a lot

If both have same points, goal difference determines the winned, not the 1vs1.

If you can't post screenshots then how do we explain why you are second?

If you have the same points, then it's goal difference. If you have same goal difference, then it's who scored more goals.
