Player Weight & Height...do they have an impact during a game?

As the title says..was wondering if a player's height & weight actually have an impact on his playstyle (eg. You will concede less goals from corner kicks or crosses if you have tall defenders )

I've been told that when the developers were asked this particular question here on the forum, the answer was that those attributes are pure cosmetic.

I wish it did, though. It would add another fun element to the game. One would train STs differently depending on those attributes for example. Maybe it would even bring back two STs formations.
