    Turn off friendly matches

Is there an option in the game to turn off friendly matches for a team?
My semi final opponent in the Cup has been playing friendlies against my team even though he is not on my friends list.
The count has reached 8 matches so far this season.
Is there any way I can stop him playing friendlies against me?

PS: I have written to Support and they are mute as ever.

    Turn off friendly matches

There isn’t anyway of turning off any friendly matches.

Is he playing his full starting 11 against you? He might just be playing you by playing with his subs to gain rests.

It is bad manners in my view especially when they are not your friends already. Of course you can cancel the fixtures if you catch them before they are played but remember that you do not lose any condition as the challenged team.
Nonetheless, You could message the guy or even add him as a friend?

The friendlies scheduled are just 1-2 mins in advance ... so no time to cancel
He is playing against me to learn my tactics and figure a strategy to beat me in the Cup match

one thing u can do is make a 2nd formation of weak / fringe players from your subs and save that formation . so such people can't get idea of your tactics

once your game is finished , load that weak formation and relax before your next game , its best possible thing u can do

Yes I know you’re joking but what’s needed here is when someone ‘challenges you to a friendly’ there should be two options where you can either accept or deny the match invitation.

Fair point, but we could also have a "don't disturb mode" .turning this on will not allow other managers play friendlies with you.

I agree that that is a good idea.
