lol he's angry now... He bought new 5* players, increasing his team quality by a bit. Looks like he hasn't realised that my formation easily beats his and has stuck to his same one. First leg is an away game which is always good

Imagine if he filled his entire squad of 22 full of scouts... lol

This may be a sly way to win my CL tie but I think should work...

The 2nd leg in 2 days time is a home game for me which means I can change the time of the match. The guy I'm playing (who is also in my league) has an away league game in the evening.

His league match is at 8:30pm, so I'm going to change the CL match time to 8:45pm.. as it's so close he won't be able to change his team and use rest packs and won't be able to change the time of his matches Checkmate

You should check how long before the game you're allowed to change it. If you change it too early, he will notice, and he might just have time to prepare if he's quick.

Also, you might want to wait to see the first leg result before you do that.

Well the early game against second place was over by HT.
Goals in the 6, 24 and 35min put him back to bed.
14 points clear, 'good night Vienna'
The only disappointment, skill points 0-3 win and ten skill points awarded. Two to Cid who gets a six the crazy world of T11.
Parker (1) and Inns (2) getting the goals, with assists from Parker Inns and Francis.

Crunching tackles cost him, serves him right, wank*r, three yellows with also a red to his DC in the second half.



Also how poor are the skill gains, oldest player on the park, 23yo.

I won 5-1 away from home Vs 6th place. I wont get 1st though because a guy bought a full scout team about a week into the season when he was struggling around 7th pos

A 6-2 win in the league puts me 8 points clear of second place and 9 from third place. They have a game in hand so I'm hoping for them to drop points.

Petersen with only 1 goal and that was from a penalty. My DC scored 2 goals as well. A bit of a scare when I went 1-0 down in the 2nd minute, but we got back to 3-1 and then they scored again making it 3-2 but tiredness settled in as we smashed them late on. Disappointing to concede 2 against inferior opposition but a win is a win!

CL match next... League rival has a team full of 5* and no doubt out to get me after I beat him 3-0 in the league. No room for error as I'm hoping to put the tie to rest in this leg
