If trophy counts via actual winning (to keep a long winning run going, not tanking), then a manager actually does not have to sell an entire team but just the supporting casts. The defining key is to regularly keep a set number of main players for the draw, so that a relatively manageable draw is achieved while the seasonal turnover of other supporting squad players are also kept to a minimum to fit around those regular T-income from sponsor, association and winning events.

The fine balance in keeping a significant enough quality advantage between main players vs opponent’s best, the resources needed to refresh the supporting casts and also the number of able yet not too T-expensive subs for greens savings is a delicate one.

Yeah you can wait all day when trying to sell player - with no luck. So i usually just sack them nowdays.
Special sponsor - even if it gives small boost to us but the biggest advantage is for those who pays for them. You just cant overlook differences between common and paid special sponsor.
So next time anyone will request any changes remember that it will be twisted in that way you cant imagine.
With regards to selling players, there is a set formula relative to player quality vs highest set price (Player quality range, highest possible price % against max, translated into down-clicks from max)
    1) 90%+, 100%, 0
    2) 80%+ to 89.9%, 90%, 2
    3) 70%+ to 79.9%, 80%, 4
    4) 60%+ to 69.9%, 65%, 7

Any under 60% has to be sold immediately because system will not buy them.

Max time required by system to complete the transaction is 3 hours (so you could imagine all my seasonal squad players are all trained to conditions of 7.5% about 4-5 hours from season refresh for the last bits of quality and value increase)

Tried and tested by a very money&resource-oriented low-level club manager who specialises in squeezing every penny from the rock.

Winning is a form of art. Consistently winning is a show-hand of skills and luck.

Good to meet someone who doesn't hide that he manipulates. I do the same. The statement you responded to was based on the assumption that manipulation is fixed and we are drawn based on white skill average on top 3 players perhaps. Unless they make the draw entirely random then I would probably just leave the game.

Very good record there! Lots of hard work has been put in for that (or else troll-lose results would not have been only 2 when there are usually a few trolls every season). To only concede 77 goals in 600+ matches require excellent team setup, and very well done! (Easy to score 10+ but a lot harder to set up a good team shape to get clean sheets at the same time)

In the long run, we probably still may be drawn up with equally talented managers who do the exact same manipulation trick, so by then we may need to be prepared to further strengthen in those seasons to keep the title-winning going. So short to medium term, it is way more feasible to build an ever-improving team with also draw manipulation in place to save packs up easier and quicker. (Or else money will run short too because of having to buy older players for squad).

Proper player training via draw manipulation would win against tanking teams in the long run as well. Tanked players would have greys improved (no reduction), while managers achieving successive promotions with all top scorer awards will gradually build a more specific-high-white teams with low greys as well. That is even before the manipulation team could widen the quality advantage by ‘filling in’ the supporting players (eg, say 9 key players of 140%% + 5x 1* vs 14x 90% - really no match when the former manager knows how to train players properly). For me, they can tank all they like because they would still lose very easily.

I think no one here remembers what the great Admiral Nelson taught the raw young naval talent Thomas Cochan when dealing with enemy ships --- "Never mind maneuvers, always go at them."

In other words, just assemble your team and whack at the opponent!

Absolutely. Hours of my life spent training players. I avoid trolling by not attending matches if that makes any sense at all lol. And yeah, I have a no st and only 1 Mc formation. positions that seriously need more relevance in the game. And yes, the strongest competitors are like minded manipulators.

You must be talking about lazy tankers? Because if players like us were to upsell and tank. No Greys to worry about and we will train them right. Now add manipulation to the mix and that's an insane team we are talking about. Many in the top 100 asso do the the tanking/manipulating and upselling combi on top of buying special sponsor. If you ask me which is more effective at winning trophies and maintaining win rates, comparing each loophole individually. I think manipulating would get the best result assuming the same.skilled player attempts all 3 separately. Less trolling with wider quality gap. But then again, it is dependant on luck and how many manipulators join or pick it up during the season.

I know alot of players who tank but are dedicated players. These players cannot be beaten by manipulator accounts simply because the manipulator sells some starters every season. Making up for that gap ain't easy and while the manipulator does that, the tanker is getting his whites to match the manipulator. I am assuming it is lower because of slower gaining due to higher greys. And the tanker definitely has more stored resources than a manipulator.

Anyway most tankers play that way because they wanna store resources, need a break and avoid the higher levels. I am surprised at how happy the top of the server players are these days. Nothing has changed and it is still the same dead end yet no suggestions for improvement and no one is pissed at it. Yeah, you are an f2p player as well. We definitely would put up a fight but will never win anything there. Basically you either ruin your win rate avoiding the top or you go there and get it ruined anyway. Not sure about you but I ain't too worried about higher levels as I intend to continuously restart to play at the lower levels. It's much easier and enjoyable

"But why are you manipulating aswell when you clearly dont like others who are manipulating and have to play against them." because you have no other choice/options, in order to win you need to do that stuff, right ?

in this case, nordeus as developer already take many action just to tackle them but... not brave enough, sigh
if they brave enough, they will tweak/change the game engine or try to...

me, playing this game since "fair" enough, i enjoy that moment, thinking formation and tactic etc.
but nowdays, when you face "mutant" its like........... " alright then " *start praying lmao
