Funnel goals to the top scorer

Hi. I have a local problem with the top scorer challenge in the league:
I'm dominating the league, have 25 wins (GF 125, GA 8) and 1 round left, but for the top scorer challenge turned to be challenging in the very end of the season:

and I felt pretty safe. The last few matches my top scorers did 1-2 goals, while the closest rival had easy opponents with his main player scoring 4 (out of 5), 3 (out of 5) and 5 (out of 7) goals, which resulted the following after round 25:


For the last round we both have weak opponents: 96% (him) vs 54% and 109% (me) vs 55%. Luckily my match is several hours later, so I can adjust to the results: if we are even, I can sub the player out for both of us to get the Top Scorer, but I feel that if he scores 4-5 goals in one game, it will be a problem for me to catch up, since my players are more equal.
What would you recommend to do if I want to get at least 2-3 goals guaranteed for the particular top scorer?


The first thought is to put the AML(9) and AMR(12) on the bench (both of them have a very high contribution).
May be use some specific formation? Should I use 1*'s?

I normally use defensive tactics + counters, which helps against stronger teams. Will switching to attacking help maximize the goals? May be focus passing to the right side?
