Multiple top scorers in one team

The rules state that the Top Scorer reward can be claimed only once per team even if there are several winner players, but can you choose who will receive it? Or is it random?

I have 3 of my players in the top with 36, 36 and 32 goals after 23 rounds and have a big chance for two of them to finish with the same result, but need the reward only for the one particular, as the second is young and FT and can get these % on his own easily.

Yes, I was planning to do the same.
But just was curious of what happens when there's a draw. Is there a selection similar to getting special sponsor bonus %'s, or the game will just choose one random player and give it to him without asking.
Also the last game will be against a strong team (#2 in my league) and getting required number of goals for the right player might be tricky.

No selection, I once have 3 players scored same and the bonus goes to the one on the top in the list. But that could be always the top one or just random.

Thanks for the info! And was this player older than the rest two or stayed in your team for longer? Or may be he was the last to achieve this number?
I guess, the game has some internal default sorting criterion and uses it.

no, it isn't random. in the event of a tie the player with the most assists wins. happened to me once
