You said it all. While there are some positives such as cool 3d animations and a seemingly endless array of animations, The animations have no tactical significance which is something the old 2d and the old commentary (to a lesser extent) offered.

Now we can only look at the match stats to get an idea of what's going on in the game and even that has been skewed with the recent upturn in the ratio shots on target to goal keeper saves.

I feel so blind when I'm managing a live match as I have no idea what's going on, and it has become tiring.
