Some of my players aren't progressing after matches

I bought this player from market, after doing the fast trainer test which he was, i trained him up but npw he doesnt seem to gain from matches, he only gains a few playstyle points that is it, have a few player like this, anyone know what going on? He's reached his limit or something?

oh yeah, at some point when your player reach high % the usual training for certain skill is useless & you need to train other white skill in order to increase his overall quality %
