Number of players that count for next season?

I have been led to believe that the number has increased from 14 to 16 - anybody shed any light on this please?

I would honestly go for 11 instead of 14.
I have been screwed in the past by having youth academy players that raised my quality even tho i have sold all my bench and 2-3 players from the starting 11.

I was told by a guy in my association.
I did do 16 - 10 'good' players and 6 bad and avoided my main protagonist - AIK again, so maybe it is 16??

Best 14 and players with contracts pending to renew are counted too.
Only if you send players for a long academy training these will not be counted. (for now)
