I think you miss the point, he speaks about the inflation. Tokens value is not the same in all countries and is adjusted depending "on power of buying" for a certain area/country.

For example, if you have to complete a video and you receive a token but someone else from Turkey receive 10 and later on you have to face him, would be impossible for you to compete with him.
