Boosting Morale

Anyone please tell me how to increase players' individual morale level.
I tried with morale boosters only. But wanna know whether any other successful methods

Not too my mind as they always drop, I guess if they are playing in a winning team they don't drop so much but if you compare that with your reserves you will see a big difference, some people will say things like making them captain, renewing their contract and increasing win bonus but apart from that I know not of anything else as it is just something you have to keep topping up.
