short passing & players positions

but flat means the largest distance between each line ...which is not logical !! ..
may be it work with more attacking mentality and more red arrows in teams , meaning more players are going forward to attack ..

Im not sure how this game works lol... if playing whole pitch, your players will be everywhere so short passing could be used then to control the passing

that make sense .. so is best to be used when attacking and closing down the whole pitch
