CUP: Preliminary Round, 2nd Leg. QABALA FC (78.1) v LONDON CITY (76.8)
Result: QABALA 1-2 LONDON (agg: 3-2)

Trailing 0-2 from the first leg, we went into this match with a damage limitation attitude, against our superior opponents. Things looked bleak when Masashi Sano scored to virtually end the game as a contest. Before halftime, we lost Oleg Yashin to injury, and it seemed things could not get worse. Towards the end, reserve DL, Andreas Costa came to the fore, when in the space of a minute, he put over two superb corners, for first Percy Robins, and then Jake Brown to head our goals. We now had just over ten minutes to find a third, which would have put us through on away goals, but it just would not come.
CITY: Woodhouse, Costa, Whyte, Fiksdal, Rabus, Olsen, Duggan, Hori, Brown, Yashin (Webo), Robins.
TEAM TALK:
We salvaged some pride with today's win, but that doesn't make up for going out of the cup at the first stage, for the second successive season. With the tie almost decided from the first game, we decided to give reserve defender, Andreas Costa a run out, before his potential departure, due to his low quality rating. But he really came good, and manager Billy Wheeler, is debating whether to stick with him for the season.
Just finished the CUP match ...1st leg I won with 1-0 but 2nd leg is drawn with 1-1 ...will I go further ...

I've been rather busy looking for potential AML/ML's to sign and I've been through all the teams in the CUP and clicked on every team that was L20 (so these players are 4*, so they may sell up) and there was 10 players I could offer for that suits my criteria for bidding, I'm ideally looking for a AML/ML 114Q or close to it that can take free kicks, 8 players were AML/ML, 1 player is ML only but takes free-kicks and 1 player is a young 19 ML that I could develop. I should be able to sign one of these players I'd expect since these are 4* players to their respective clubs.
The current cup format might not be good to play in and we don't favour it since the abolishment of the old format. BUT when your looking for players to sign, this is actually one positive about the current cup format.
If you find a very young fast trainer ML, just teach him the ability. At the pace you PT players, he'll be a free kick taker in no time.Quote:

i think going into negotiations was a bad idea. not heard back yet after 8 hours.

While I was at work my team, with all its one, two and 3 star players won their cup match 4-1. They did a lot better than when I was watching in the 1st leg, and made changes. My opponent who is also in League 4 was watching. maybe it's a glitch.
I don't know how my team pulled this one off but i'm glad I won, even "my friend" was cheering for my opponent lmao.

This is the first time we have bought a player via Negotiations, It's not the best player around but its an improvement from a 5*110 to 6*115 for the left midfield.
Need a Cb and a RB and AML/AMR/ST with abilities. Then I'll be happy for the season.
