Lost the opening game in the League to the Title favorite 0-1 away, but won in the Champions League opener 5-0 at home.
I then won the 2nd game of the League 3-0 against one of the CL contenders but lost 2-1 in the Cup to a team one LVL above me, getting 3 injuries in the process, two of them to key members of the team. We're sure to have a really hard time getting back in there if I can't get a bunch of red packs in the next 2 days..!
Hm, seem all "struggle" one way or another. But I was woundering, are all teams in your league that are marked as "blue" friends or what? Are they people you know or just people you accepted as friends (after sending you a inventation?)... I don't know it this is true, but I recall that the more "friends" you have in your league or cl - the more tougher it gets and strange result could occur just to make it more "tense, tought and competitive"?Quote:

I'm not sure. He's not a bot and he has a REALLY good team but some players are out of position. He has a good history of league titles too. Also, he must of won his Prelim match and I doubt he did that with the penalty.Quote:

I used a 3N-1-4-2 with normal mentality, mixed passing and focus, full pitch, no arrows. we both attended (i at least logged before beingkicked out) without further watchers.
I do think that the key is the full pitch pressing, as playing own pitch makes you wait for the opponent to move. works good against weak teams, as your counters and generally overuns destroy them, but against a same level you need to block its attack. MCs here are hugely needed with good defensive stats.
As you can see my keeper didn't make any save, and rated a 4. I didn't follow, but to me looks like he got 2 goals from nowhere, "idiotic engine style".
Is it morally ok to support you biggest competitors opposition during matches? I did it today and I think I just made him draw the game. Feels a little bit cheap though. I don't do it against long time "game" friends though all though they are kinda good.

We started the match well enough, and quickly were ahead when Percy Robins worked himself some space to fire home. Six minutes later, Christian Seun produced an eaqualiser and within a couple of minutes, Mads Fiksdal handled an incoming corner, to give away a penalty, from which Omid Rajabi scored to give the visitors the lead. The score remained like this until the 67th minute, when Fiksdal made up for his earlier mistake, when he headed home after a cross from Stig Andersson. Jake Brown suffered a groin strain during the first half. A draw was slightly disappointing, but at least we are still unbeaten by these higher level teams. Tomorrow we play away, in the league, at a team that we last played against in the cup in season three.
City: Miklosko, Costa, Watts, Fiksdal, Cole, Andersson, Santos, Hori, Brown (Rabus), Leth, Robins.

Troll F.C. update:
Cup qualifying 1st leg: ΛAEPMA (37.4 4-1-3N-2) - Troll F.C. (36.7 4-5-1 V-style) 2:4
Has probably been an interesting match, Troll F.C. scored an early lead by Kolar (14.), but the Greek side turned the match around and led by 2-1 (20., 29.) before Kolar (38.) and Jungwirth (42.) turned the outcome of the match once more. In the second Jungwirth scored final goal (73.). So Troll F.C. got a nice away result.
In the league Troll F.C. got a stunning 5-1 win at FC domestic (34.8 4-1-3W-2) and stays on rank 2 with since points. FC Kneipenkick could also grab a win and stayed 2nd, 2 goals behind Malika.
Yeah, actually none of them are real friends, everyone is acquaintances made throughout the careers. I tend to befriend people who play an interesting tactic or who have nice looking teams in Cup or Champions League. If they abuse the Friendly-option I get rid of them real quick though.Quote:

CUP: Balkan Boyz (Q54,1) 8 - 1 Buca FC (Q44,1)
We completely wrecked the Turkish team "Buca FC" in the T11 CUP qualifiers 1th leg. Stevan Jovetić (MoM) scored 4, Edin Džeko 3 and Aleksandar Kolarov 1 goal. We got a nasty injury on Pjanić in the 25th minute, which forced us to switch formation from 3N-2W-3N-2 to 3N-2W-2N-1-2. This was Pjanić's 2nd injury this season. This was also Jovetić's first goals for the season and he seemed to have a great day on work. Could be because of the fact that I renewed his contract for another 3 years, who knows? Anyway, I'm more then satisfied with his performance! :D
The win means that we are "safely" through to the playoffs and can concentrate our strenght in the League + Champions League instead of thinking on the return, which will be played on Friday at 16:18CET.

So I've added about 25 new guys in the last week.. All from a lower level so they get owned if they play a friendly with me..
They give me stuff but only one of them supports my matches and it ain't even often. Y U NO SUPPORT ME.
It's difficult to make friends on T11 I think and to try and get other managers to support your team, especially you can't talk to anyone, because I'm sure I'd talk to a few saying good game or even congratulate someone that gets a result against us. Even the Batigo United or LIVERPOON manager. I even would of said "well done" to the Fc RonnyBonny manager for trying to beat us a while back in the Champions League when he watched both legs of the Semi-Final.Quote:

Bang on! 2 things I really wish they would listen on. 1: allow messages to your friends/contacts within the game, and 2: Sort out the random friendlies! I've deleted a few contacts over that. It's just not on allowing other players to challenge your team without ample warning or a chance to cancel. It really should be a mutual agreement thing. Nordeus need some serious talking to. It feels like they set this game up, and are lazy about updating, because God knows enough people complain about certain issues, but instead of fixing those, what did they spend their time doing ... adding in Mourinho teams ... Hmmmm.
Oh, while I'm at it, cup game earlier: I was 1-0 up, just after HT - and in the middle of making a sub, when the flippin' net went dead! AAAaaargh!!! Frantic run to the router, reboot ... took an age for it to boot back online of course ... came back to see the match had ended. Thankfully I never got to make that substitution, as I was about to take one of my strikers off. He wasn't doing much and his condition was low. Turned out he scored 2, and set up 2 more, in a 5-1 home win :) Sometimes it's best you don't do anything during a match. if you're set up right beforehand, trust in it.
Since the season started, I've had three negotiation bids for my back-up MR, who was my second from worse player, which up until today, I had rejected. But I am trying to strengthen my team, so as a friend from level below me, made an offer which was 1M higher than the player's value, plus 1 token, I accepted. Then what happens? Forty minutes later, my first team MR, gets a three day injury, and I'm now left without a wide player on the right. Either going to have to play a weird looking formation, or play someone OOP.
He's was at it again today, calling me "chicken" for not playing against him. Arrgghh! Got so frustrated, I finally agreed tonight. He was so jubilant and kept taunting me. I put out my weakest XI, and he arranged the match. I watched but never made any alterations at all. He was making them all the time. From the moment I scored a penalty after just 2 minutes, he was never in it. I won 9-0. He hasn't messaged me back since then.Quote:

I think it's starting now... I've only lost the first league match 1:0 and won every other game, dominated 75%...
But even after fixing up one injured player I still have three that are out for 1, 2 and 5 days, the longest being the main striker which only has one sub...
As long as my team stays this way it will be ok though. My AML despite being only Q15 is being a complete beast. Played one match in each competition, scored 1 goal in league and 3 in cup, made MOM in cup and CL and is progressing quite fast (22yo). I'm thinking of power training him but 15 -> 20 is a lot unfortunately...
